Brookside, the chocolate-covered snack manufacturers from British Columbia has entered the Indian market with "Fruit Flavored Centers". It is a unique snack which combines the taste of smooth dark chocolate with exotic fruit and berry flavour.
Brookside is a brand owned by the chocolate company Hershey's and they have positioned Brookside as a premium chocolate product with a fruit favored centers.
Brookside has launched the fruit flavored centers in three variants - Acai & Blueberry, Raspberry & Goji and Pomegranate. Well most of the fruits as well as the combinations are novel to the Indian market and Brookside believes that it will lead to trial purchase.
Even the TVC has a premium touch to it as compared to rest of the competitors.

While Brookside is trying to find the niche among niches, Hershey's is gearing up to release its iconic brands Hershey's Kisses and Chocolate Bars in the near future.
