Apple
recently launched an updated version of its AirPods last week and its
looks compact and more radical compared to the previous iterations.
It features active noise cancellation, sweat and water resistance to
go with the design updates. Also now, it comes in an in-ear format
which many may not appreciate. Though it was not announced in the
Apple’s Fall event, it is already up for pre-order in the US.
Battery
performance is awesome as usual and AirPods
Pro offer four-and-a-half hours of listening time on a single charge
with active noise cancellation enabled. It also offers 3.5 hours of
talk time with a single charge. The
charging case also provides ample backup and gives close to an hour
of listening and talk-time with just 5 minutes of in-case charging.
The
AirPods Pro model has a feature named Adaptive EQ, which
automatically tunes songs for better sound and has an updated
touch-sensitive stem that allows users to switch between
noise-cancellation mode and transparency mode. The transparency mode
allows you to hear environment around you.
AirPods
Pro are water and sweat resistant and also comes with interchangeable
silicon ear-tips in three sizes. Apple is expecting it to be a big
hit among the fitness enthusiasts.
When
launched in India, AirPods Pro could retail in a price range of Rs.
25000 – Rs. 30,000. No launch date is confirmed for the device though.
